Gospel Music Lyrics

Although Gospel Music is now performed all over the world by all nationalities, its roots come from slavery. It was through Gospel music that Black people were able to share their feelings, emotions and connections with God. But who are the founding fathers of Gospel? Where did it all start? A look at two founding fathers of the Gospel music : Charles Albert Tindley (1851-1933), and Thomas Andrew Dorsey (1899-1993).
