Whether Woods chooses to identify himself as Black or not isn’t important, his statement above exemplifies how little people know about Black history. It further shows the extent to which others have gone to hide Black historical facts from the time before Jesus Christ until today. These hidden facts support how little credit we've been given, and the tremendous obstacles we have always been faced with in our desire to live as free and equal human beings.
