Eric, who I am assuming, is white based on the tone of his
words and phrases, sent to me his genuine thoughts today about this site:
I just read some of your website. Let me make this very easy. Jesus was Jewish. This is a known fact and as such he was middle eastern/Jew, neither black or white. Do you mention this on your website? I honestly did not read your whole website because you lost me after the first page or so trying to claim or insinuate he was black. I agree that Western Civilization and Europe have also distorted his physical attributes (blond hair and blue eyes) this too is false.
How can one ignore the Biblical evidence and scriptures themselves, both OT and NT, that Jesus is Jewish. He was an olive color of sorts, probably even darker than olive. Maybe more like the color of people from India. Probably closer to what someone from Iraq or Iran look like or even Syria.
Jews are some white and some color but not even close to being of African descent. The OT states in numerous passages he would be a descendant of David, Moses, Noah, Solomon, Joshua, etc. Nowhere near Africa.
This has nothing to do with race or racism. Please communicate accuracy by starting with the scriptures first. Please email me back with your comments, don't hold back. I would love to hear what you think of what I am saying.
Thank you,
Eric
Eric as we discuss whether Jesus was Black. let me point to President Barack Obama and the issue that continues to be raised by some whites who are uncomfortable calling him our first Black President. Many say Obama isn’t black, he's half white. Think about that for a minute. Historically from slavery through Jim Crow and to the present day, if you had one drop of Black blood you were considered Black by our society. As a result of slavery, Black Americans come in all shades and colors. President Obama, when asked the question of his heritage, acknowledges both sides of his family but says if he tried to catch a cab at night, there would be no doubt what he would be seen as, and there fore he says he is African American in his frame of reference and life experience.
Now let’s address your question of doubt as to whether Jesus was Black and that Jews are light skin and your false conclusion that since Jesus was a Jew he couldn’t have been Black. Since you seem to overlook the biblical and scientific proof that I have presented, I'm going to point you to Wikipedia and the results you get when you type in Ethopian Jews.

Eric, I hope you read that entire Wikipedia page, but especially this paragraph:
A 2001 study by the Department of Biological Sciences at Stanford University found a possible genetic similarity between 11 Ethiopian Jews and 4 Yemenite Jews who took part in the testing. The differentiation statistic and genetic distances for the 11 Ethiopian Jews and 4 Yemenite Jews tested were quite low, among the smallest of comparisons involving either of these populations.
The 4 Yemenite Jews from this study may be descendants of reverse migrants of African origin who crossed Ethiopia to Yemen. The study result suggests gene flow between Ethiopia and Yemen as a possible explanation for the closeness. The study also suggests that the gene flow between Ethiopian and Yemenite Jewish populations may not have been direct, but instead could have been between Jewish and non-Jewish populations of both regions.
So Eric, yes we both agree that Jesus was a Jew, but biblical and scientific evidence confirms now that he was indeed a Black Jew. If you have any real evidence showing otherwise, please post it. As for your point that Jesus may have been the color of people from India and Iraq, I have posted a picture of each below.

I think the question you should be posting is why Christianity refuses to acknowledge the truth and why so many so called Christians remain in denial and some seem angry, like yourself, at the thought that Jesus was Black and so is President Barack Obama. Knowing these facts, I'm sure as a Christian, you don't love and respect them any less.
Peace and Love To All Of God's People.
