Most Black people know, primarily due to slavery, we have a mixture of of races in our family history. Despite the variations in our skin color and hair texture, most of us still see ourselves as Black. But many of us have encountered whites, who when you look at their facial features , hair texture and body composition, we know that they have African roots somewhere in their family. When I've gotten to know a few whites who fall into this category, when asked, most are in immediate denial, because of the historical, social and political stigma of being identified as Black in America or any where else throughout the world ,where whites are the dominent culture.
